Medical Practice

First medical examination

The nutritional status assessment, calculation of the basal metabolic rate and caloric needs are made during the first medical examination.
Dr. Finocchiaro evaluates the body weight and psycometrics, measures the waist circumference and calculates the waist–hip ratio to predict the cardiovascular risk.

At the end of the examination lasting 30-45 minutes, synergistic therapies are planned to allow adequate weight management by changing lifestyle (food, exercise, self-care). They include nutritional rehabilitation, training, pharmaceutical and psychological therapies, but also a food education program and filling a dietary journal.
A personalized program will be always written and handed to the patient at moment or sent per E-mail in case of weekly diets.
